Short Story
Dear NaijaFund Team,
I am begging the world to come to my rescue. As a father, nothing is more painful than watching my 6-year-old son, 4-year-old daughter, and 1-year-4-month-old baby sleep in an uncompleted building because I can’t provide them with shelter.
It is a big shame, but I had to kill shame and take this bold step. Life has knocked me down despite my hard work in business and music. Right now, I urgently need support to secure a roof over my family’s head.
Please, help me give my children a safe place to sleep. Any assistance would mean the world to us.
Sincerely,
Freazy Emmanuel B’Sheart

Subject: A Desperate Plea – A Father’s Cry for Help
Dear NaijaFund Team,
I am writing with a heart full of pain and desperation, begging the world to please come to my rescue. As a father, nothing is more heartbreaking than watching my family suffer, unable to provide them with the basic necessity of shelter.
For the past few days, my wife, my 6-year-old son, 4-year-old daughter, and my youngest baby, just 1 year and 4 months old, have been homeless, forced to sleep in an uncompleted building with no security, no warmth, and no certainty of what tomorrow holds. It is a nightmare that no parent should ever experience.
The shame of not being able to protect and provide for my family is overwhelming. But I have realized that shame will not put a roof over my children’s heads, and so I have chosen to swallow my pride and take this bold step—begging for help.
I have worked hard all my life, building businesses, making music, and striving to create a future for my family. But life can be unpredictable, and even the strongest can fall. Right now, I am at my lowest, and I am pleading with kind-hearted people across the world to help me stand again.
I need urgent support to secure accommodation—a safe place for my family to sleep, a roof to protect my children from the dangers of the streets. The risk of homelessness is unimaginable, and every second in this situation is a battle for survival.
I am not asking for luxury—just a place where my children can sleep peacefully, without fear, hunger, or danger. Please, if there is any way you can assist or share my story with those who can, you would be saving a family from complete devastation.
